Magnet Tours and Information
Applying to our gifted magnet program is governed by LAUSD’s E-Choices protocols. Parents who are considering magnet options need to become familiar with the Choices brochure that the district puts out each year. You can download the most recent Choices brochure below.
Every year, in the fall, Wonderland hosts several in-person and virtual tours of its gifted magnet program.
Virtual tours will be on Wednesdays, 1 - 2:30pm: 10/2, 10/16, 10/30, 11/6
In-person tours will be on Tuesdays, 8:30 - 10am: 10/8, 10/22, 11/5

LAUSD’s Gifted/Talented Programs division has a lot of resources available to help families learn about GATE education, and how to best support their child.
The GATE office offers several online parent workshops, including ones on GATE: FAQ; Gifted Identification and Program Options, Parent Guide to SAS, Arts Identification and Programming, Advocating for your Gifted Child, Twice-Exceptional Students, and Strategies for Raising a Healthy, Happy Gifted Child.
